As the days shorten and sunlight fades, many people experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) — a form of seasonal depression that can bring fatigue, low mood, and emotional heaviness during the winter months. This educational and supportive workshop at the Holistic Wellness Collective explores how to recognize the symptoms of S.A.D., when to seek help, and how to naturally support your body and mind through the darker season.
Together, we’ll discuss the science behind serotonin and sunlight, and why the “winter slowdown” is a natural part of your body’s rhythm. You’ll also learn about herbs and teas that promote alertness, clarity, and emotional balance, helping you feel more energized and grounded through the colder months.
